Park Tool School 2 Day weekday coursePark Tool School 2 Day weekday course
This is designed for the serious diy mechanic, or the person who is trying to get into the uk cycle industry. The course is designed by Park Tools USA, and each candidate will recieve a Park Tool School manual (The Big Blue Book). The course is designed around this manual.

2 students per a course. This means a very high level of tuition from the instructor.

You will need to bringing your own bike to work on. If you are unable to do this, then Sidcup Cycle Centre will provide a bicycle at no cost. We recommend that you do bring your own bike for the following reasons.
1. You really get to know how your beloved steed works.
2. A fault diagnosis would be carried out as you progress through the curriculum. So if your bicycle has an annoying ping, crunch, squeak.....then this option is especially useful.
3. If you took your bike to your local independent bicycle retailer, who then under took to carry out all the work covered in the Park Tool School course, you would pay £80-£100.

We will be offering savings on various tools you may decide you need to continue working on your bikes at home.

Tea/coffee are included.

To date every course we have held has received great praise from the attendees. Every student has left with great enthusiasm and confident that they can now tackle home maintenance or feel enpowered when speak to bicycle shops about maintence to their bike.

Our average exit survey scored 5/5 and our lowest mark was 4/5.
