Tax free bikes for commuting with Sidcup Cycle Centre.
The Government have a tax incentive (salary sacrifice) scheme that offers reduced income tax, national insurance contribution and vat on the purchase of a bicycle and accessories. This is to encourage the use of the bicycle as your preferred mode of transport to work and forms an important part of the Green Transport Plan and thus reduces our carbon footprint.
There are a number of different companies that act as agents and administrators to employers who choose to offer their employees a salary sacrifice purchase of a bicycle. Sidcup Cycle Centre works with a number of these companies and we list below who they are and offer a link to the schemes site where you can find out the terms and conditions.
