Extended Christmas returns

Thinking of buying a christmas treat for a friend or family? We've extended our usual no quibble returns policy over the Christmas period: all items purchased from us between the 1st of November and 24th of December 2009 can be returned any time up until the 31st of January 2010. Of course our usual return conditions apply.

28 day returns - including bikes!

At Sidcup Cycle Centre our priority is to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are not, please feel free to return your goods within 28 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund.

Any item including bikes (but with the exception of food) can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in 'showroom condition' (i.e. not ridden) with its original packaging and with a valid receipt.

Returns can be made in person here in Sidcup at our shop. Or you can return your purchase by post.

Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit & debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase, cheque payments will be refunded in cash but due to banking restrictions can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date. Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret that we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt.

Returning your purchase by post

To return your purchase by post complete our returns form stating whether you would like a refund, exchange or have a warranty issue. Please provide us with details of why you wish to return your purchase, as your input is invaluable to us when reviewing the products we stock.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories).

Returning bicycles and bulky objects

If you wish to return bulky objects such as bicycles, and turbo trainers, please contact us to arrange a special courier collection. Contact us on +44(0)208 300 8113

Please note: Depending on the reasons for returning an item a charge may be incurred for this service.

Returning your purchase to Sidcup Cycle Centre in person

Simply take your purchase and original receipt into our shop. Staff will issue a refund on the spot, or you can browse our shop and exchange your purchase for an alternative product.

As with postal returns, shop returns must be made within 28 days, refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and the goods must be returned in original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.

Finance & Ride2Work returns

If you have made a mail order purchase using our finance option or through The Cyclescheme programme and would like to return your purchase please contact us on +44(0)208 30 8113

Potential Warranty Items

On receipt of your goods, if you feel they are faulty, please call us on +44(0)208 300 8113 to obtain a warranty returns number.

If you do not have a returns number this will delay the warranty inspection & possible warranty claim on your goods.

On receipt of your goods we will carry out a warranty inspection & contact you within 3 working days of receipt.

If your purchase is outside our 28-day returns period but within the manufactures warranty period we will repair or replace the item(s) as stated in the manufacturers warranty guidelines.

Please note: In some cases the manufacturer/supplier may require to see the item(s) before repair or replacement can take place. If this is the case we will inform you.

Proof of purchase is also required with all potential warranty claims.

International returns

If you wish to return an item that is unsuitable or not required you will be liable for the return delivery. If you wish to then try a different size or style, delivery will be charged again to post the item back to you. Please contact us for further advice.

Our policy does not affect your statutory rights. Full details of which can be obtained from any Trading Standards Department or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
