The mechanics at Sidcup Cycles are second to none. Bicycles are our passion and our lives. All the mechanics are trained to the highest standards in the cycle industry. Every one of them has a Cytech or Weldtech qualification. All work undertaken is accountable, and we keep a record of all the work carried out on your bike to ensure you get the most out of the manufactures guarantees.

Mail Order Assembly Junior Bikes - £23.50
We will prepare your bicycle as thoroughly as we prepare our own bikes. All bearing areas are checked and adjusted to the correct tension. The brakes and gears are set up. Wheels may receive minor truing. Tyres are inflated to the required pressure. Junior bicycles (12-20”wheel)
Mail Order Assembly BMX bikes - £35.25
We will prepare your bicycle as thoroughly as we prepare our own bikes. All bearing areas are checked and adjusted to the correct tension. The brakes and gears are set up. Wheels may receive minor truing. Tyres are inflated to the required pressure.

Tyres checked for wear and inflated to the correct pressure.
Headset
The headset is checked and adjusted to the correct tension.
Bottom Bracket
The bottom bracket is checked and adjusted to the correct tension.
Drive Train
The chain is cleaned and oiled.
Gears
The gears are cleaned. Checked and adjusted.
Brakes
Cleaned, stripped and adjusted. **

The bottom bracket shell is cleaned and the threads re-tapped if needed.
The bottom bracket shell is refaced if needed.

Drive Train
The chain is cleaned and oiled.
Gears
The gears are removed and hand cleaned, checked for damage and wear, then refitted.
Brakes
Cleaned, stripped and adjusted.
Additional work included
Removal and refitting of tyres and inner tubes.
Re-taping of handlebars.
Refitting of handlebar grips.

Replacement ball bearings, brake and gear cables are fitted to ensure the best performance. Costs will be added to the parts bill.

Wheel Servicing - front wheel - £9.50
Includes the following: Dismantle and removal of the bearings and axle. Cleaning and inspection of the parts.
Wheel servicing - rear wheel - £11.50

If you are unsure if your bicycle is cost efficent to be repair, we can give you a detailed estimate to make your bike road worthy. *If you agree to proceed with the repair/restoration, this charge is waved.
Insurance Report - £18.00
A detailed inspection report for insurance purposes. This takes covers frame and fork alignment, as well as component inspection.
After Sales Check - £FOC
We offer a free after sales check on all our new bicycle sales. This check is offered sixty days after it's sale date, and covers: Checking of bearing adjustment in the hubs,steering and drive bearings. Adjustment of the brakes and gears. Pumping the tyres to the correct pressure. Wear and tear is not covered.
